Life can be strange some times, you book a gig in Rome for Jeff Kollman to find out that his rhythm section, Charlie Waymire and Christopher Maloney, can be easily be compared to the more famous Shane Gaalaas and Barry Sparks. And then you find out that Charlie Waymire has created a wonderful band (EGH), at the same level of Kollman's best work, a super band with Albie Dunbar (bass) and the incredible Ernesto Homeyer (guitar).

Ernesto has a totally original guitar playing style, it seems like he exceeds a little much in the "fraseggio" but his solos are totally unique and musical. I could relate him to the style of Eddie Van Halen and Paul Gilbert, from the first one he took or has the melodic touch and from the second the speed and picking that made him famous since Racer x.

The genre? Jazz-metal with blues fragments, the best you can hear from a power trio.
